Throughout my last ten years, my experience in social intervention and my humanitarian trips, to Asia and Africa, gave me the chance to connect with people of different backgrounds, beliefs and culture. I had the opportunity to listen to their stories and unfortunately witness heartbreaking injustice.

I have counselled women and youth from various backgrounds whose daily lives are inhibited by challenges outside of their control. As I would counsel the women and youth, I found myself constantly blocked by futile social policies and or dehumanizing governmental regulations. Thus, I desired to tell a different story, for every woman and youth, as they deserve to be seen and hard.  I aspired to touch their heart and soul, through my art and documentary work in order to serve them better where the government had merely failed them.

To this day, I aspire to bring awareness to our society regarding the difficult and at times unbearable circumstances encountered by our fellow citizens and indegiousnus communities. I long to denounce social injustices, as my vision is to humanize the journey of the hurting individual who is pushed aside and stigmatized by our society.
